What did MRM do in
the last 10 years? This ministry started out with only 2 people in the
office and it continued to grow from 2 people to many of us. We have accomplished a lot from the website,
to social sites to major social sites such as Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. We
are continuing to grow and find new ways to get the word out about what we do
here at this office.
How has MRM changed
since I have been here? I have always wanted to work volunteer organization
or for mission organization. I had a few internships in college at victim
service organization and food pantry for about a year. I never thought that I
would work for MannaRelief Ministries until one night. I had came across
MannaRelief on my college’s website and send my resume for the receptionist
position. I was surprised to receive a phone call from MannRelief Ministries. When
I started MannaRelief Ministries it was rough point in my life because I was
going to school, dealt with a sick father who had colon cancer and working 2nd
job on the weekends at Hilton Hotel. It was not easy to come to work to carry a
load with me but I had a passion of what I was doing when I started
MannaRelief. I continue to have passion of what I do after working here for 3
years. I have a passion to come to work and I am helping my fellow co-workers
or help direct phone calls from a
parent, sponsor or friend to help them locate Hope information. When someone
calls from another country to help orphanages or look to get into the orphanages
my heart comes out to each of these individuals. When I see someone walk into
the MannaRelief office I am inspired to hear everyone stories including from the
mailman or mail lady, FedEx, office supply driver and I tell them about what we
do here at MannaRelief Ministries. I had one gentleman walked into the office
to sell something and he asked what we do here at MannaRelief. I told him about
what we do and showed some of the orphanages on a map from different countries.
This gentleman mouth dropped when I showed him we had orphanage in
Does MRM influence my
community of where I live? Yes. Not a lot of people who are from the
